Living the Farm Life
Lessons from gardening, homesteading, and homemaking aren’t always taught through manuals and instructions. Sometimes they are best taught through the stories we tell our friends. Weekly stories and events from our farm life to inspire and connect with others.
I’m not a dog trainer, so I won’t be writing about how to train a dog to point at a bird. But, here will be stories about my fur friends and the shenanigans they keep up with- finding the skeleton of the back half of a deer only for all the dogs to carry it almost taking me out, running past a window afraid of the cat, and jumping into ponds and mud holes only to return to the house a different color than when they left their fence.

I love the bouquets I make for my home, the time I spend in my garden, the animals I tend for from when they are babies or for the animals I adopt, and the year of living life on my farmette where every seasonal year varies bringing in different beauty, harvest, and stories.
Come be a part of my weekly adventures.
