On our homestead in the hills of the Alleghenies, we work with God’s Creation to build our home, farm, and life.

Our homestead is a place filled with flowers, gardens, and backyard animals. It is home to our family, three woofers, a few kitties, chickens, ducks, and the occasional pheasant and chukar. Add in the flowers, home gardens, orchards, berry patches, and occasional wildlife; we are working with God’s Creation.

From homesteading to gardening to DIY projects, we strive to be good stewards to the land, for the beauty of the earth.

Our Farm Life

Faith. Family. Farm.

I’m Megan, the gardener behind the posies. I grew up in the countryside further south in our Pennsylvania mountain range, taking adventures down the road to my grandparents’ home and the family farm. If I’m not out in the garden or with our animals, one can find me inside cooking up a good meal, reading a classic book, or cross-stitching.

My husband, Shawn, is the man behind the tractor and the bulky work. He grew up with knowledge and stories of homesteading, mechanics, and hunting. If he is not on a tractor, one will need to take a walk into the woods to find him enjoying the great outdoors looking for deer, pheasants, or turkeys.
